Adding custom fields in VT03 transaction

Hi Experts ,

I need to add the custom fields in VT03 transaction and populate the values .

SAP has provided an option of additional tab , but some how i could not figure out the solution . I see from many blogs that no screen exits are available for the VT0*N transactions.

Your help would be appreciated if you can guide me in solving the issue .

Don't use transaction codes when searching, instead just think what you are trying to achieve. Google -> 'shipment custom field site:sap.com' -> this post is on the first page.

I doubt there are any better options available since 2011, but you can always check in the enhancements. SAP keeps moving and renaming the 'enhancement finder' website, looks like now it is called 'Innovation Discovery'. Look it up on SAP Marketplace.

But again - I doubt any investment has gone in the good old transaction since Transportation Management got a big push.
