I have created a 'Z' table and a table maintenance view using the table maintenance generator. I want to add some code to check that entries made to the table are valid. I tried by following the menu path environment>modifications>source code but when trying to compile I get the syntax error "Statement is not accessible" when trying to compile. I tried to add the code to the generated code, but get the same error.
Can anybody tell me the correct procedure?
Thanks

well all u have to do is go to se11
type table name go to
<b>table maintenance generator </b>
click on <b>environment</b>
<b>modification over view screen</b>
<u>click on the screen number mostly 0001 </u>
and then in this screen if u go to element list u can change the list box which says "input possible to " to " <b>required</b>
thats it
here u can change screen elemnts freely
of course activate it for u to see changes
