Hi,

Is there any way to add an Authorisation Obect directly into a role, or assign that AO to a user....without going to PFCG.......(adding - Activity field, class type, and so on....)

Can any one guide me the procedure to add an "Authorisation Object" directly using SUIM.

Venkat.

Hi Satish,

Is there any way to add an Authorisation Obect directly into a role

-Auth. objects can be directly added to roles manually by going into PFCG.

assign that AO to a user....without going to PFCG.......(adding - Activity field, class type, and so on....)

-Auth. object cannot be assigned to users, users are assigned roles and roles contain auth. objects.

Can any one guide me the procedure to add an "Authorisation Object" directly using SUIM.

-Auth. object cannot be directly added using SUIM

Thanks,

Saby..

SUIM is place where you get all security related reports

i think PFCG is only place sugggested to add object to role

any specific reason???

Hi Satish,

If you are a security consultant then you should have access to PFCG.You can not assign the users through SUIM.

You will have shortcuts to "create a role" and "assign to users" in your initial screen (session manager) but that will take you ultimately to PFCG only.

If you dont have access then I think you are not supposed to carry this activity, Please check what you are doing wont lead to Seggregation of duties.
