Adding a new view to Material master

Hi All,

I am having a requirement such that I want to add a new view to the material master transactions(mm01, mm02, mm03). I am aware about creating a subscreen and assigning it in the omt3 transation so it can be displayed as a part of screen. But I want to know, is it possible to create a new screen itself and get assigned to the mm transactions. If anyone has solved such type of problem previously do reply.....

Dear Brinjesh,

Your requirement is adding a view to MM transactions. If you look at technically, you have to add new view to existing tab strip in main screen. So, the screen type should be sub-screen to add to tab strip contol.

Coming to your through of creating new screen, there should be some control like menu or button to navigate from main screen. Can you say, is it convenient for end user? Doesn't it look odd?

Please post your opinion on this.

Hi Prasanth,

I am having idea that if I can add the new requirement as one of the tab strip only. so, I will add new view and it will be work same as Baic Data1 and basic data2. I am having this type of idea only. Will it be possible. Because I am yet to give the feedback about development. I am not that much aware about changing standard transactions. Please give your feedback about this.

Dear Brijesh,

The solution for this is create new sub-screen with logic and assign it to the tabstrip through transaction.
