I want to add search help for a standard data element, but in modify mode, the blanket is gray.

Hello Johnson,

Once you got the access key for changing the data element...

Just place the cursor on the 'Name' field on the search help tab and press 'Change Suboject'(Shift+F11) button..

Then the system will popup for search help... enter your search help.. and click ok... match the parameter... save and activate.. (Activate may take quite long time)

Hi Johnson,

You cannot add search help to a standard data element directly.

If you are using the field in your ztable, then you can add your own search help for that data element in the table maintenance generator.

Do revert back for any issues

Hi Kumar,

I have applied access key from SAP Support Portal, I can't turn it to modify mode if there is not access key.

I have searched in forum, but I find no thread answered my question, and your link is not available now, could you kindly post it directly in here?

Thanks and Regards

Johnson
