Hi,
When I was creating a program in IDES using T.Code: SE38 ,system is asking the access key. How we know the access key for that.

Hi,
You need to assign your user id as a developer by entering the Access key.
This access key can be generated from OSS site.
Your basis persion or some one who has Service Market Place user id (S-USER) and password can generate for you.

Hi Jyoti,
Are you sure it asks about acess key. I think it asks for developer key. Please ask your BASIS Team for developer key.
The developer keys are based on your Installation Number of the R/3 server. You have to logon to your SAP marketplace & give the installation no. of the R/3 server whose object/program you are modifying, which would provide you with the developer key, which should/can be used for that system.
You will need to inform SAP of the informaion below as well:
SAP license HARDWARE KEY
SAP version
System ID
System Number: 00 &
os/db like NT/Intel Oracle

Hi Jyothi,
To get the developer access key,
1. Log into https://service.sap.com
2. Click on SAP support portal,
3. Click on Quicklinks,
4. Select /SSCR
5. then Select Registration.. After that go through the steps,
or else Try here are some level1 developer keys for IDES (only for Z*):
