access key!

do i have to go to service.sap.com to get my access key?im using sap logon for my BI project, and i need to use abap,when i create the package it states i need an accesskey,when i read other forums,it says to go to the website stated above.a pop out appear,requiring me to enter userid and password?can anyone help me?thanks

Seems you don't have a developer access,just check with the Basis Team,they will do the needful.

Hi,

You don't have authorizations to change or create anything in ABAP.So you need developer access key.Contact your basis person he will resolve your problem.

When we are going to change the standards objects then we need change access key from SAP.

Hi Koh Teng Oon,

Access Key you will get from the BASIS person (employee who is working on SAP BASIS module)...

He/She will give you authorization to access particular Tcode or Object...

Follow this

Just Ask any SAP BASIS consultant to provide you Access Key... He/She will get it from service.sap.com and then he will provide it to you...

Now when u will get the popup window asking for the access key

u just need to enter the access key given to you by SAP BASIS consultant...
