Hi All. Gm.

Hi I have created one report and over there I created one structure and saved that with request number. Now I require that same structure in another report, Now my question is that can I access that structure or need to be created new one with different request number.

Hi

You can use the same structure in your new program.

But, ensure that the TRs move in proper sequence.

3. And your New program

Ok- I will use the same structure but can I able to move that program from development to preproduction. Will it not create any prob.

Hi Abhay,

You cant use the Structure from Another report. But you can create a Structure using SE11 means you can use the Same structure for Different Reports.

If you have created a global structure (using SE11) , you can use that in other programs , but it the structure is defined in the program , so it is local to the program and hence cannot be used in other program.

If your new program is going after that structure into pre-prod , there wont be any problem as that structure already exists in pre-prod. It will dump only when that structure you are referring to is not there in pre-prod.

To avoid such confusions we normally put objects corresponding to a particular development under one TR only. This avoids any errors even when you miss the proper sequencing.
