Can anybody please tell me how can I link the RFID with SAP? Means how can I link the analog with the digital.

It's not Analog to Digital.

RFID will have a digital RFID tag to the product packaga.

there will be a handheld device to read info on this digital tag using the RF.

The handheld device is integrated in SAP using various technologies.. we even can have a screen on the handheld device, where the operator can key in the info.

Hi Ganguly,

There are lot of products available in the market for integrating RFID with SAP, you can make use of those to integrate the RFID with R/3 and small corrections, RFID's are not handheld devices(Barcode tags are handheld), but there will be RFID tags, which will be detected by RFID attenas which have country specific frequency, depending on that the tags are read, then the tags are filtered(duplicate entries are removed) and then passed to interface device which is linked with SAP R/3.

<i>Note:-SAP is sponsoring independent vendors to develop a stable interface for this, still now there is no 100% clear cut software to do this.</i>

Go through the above Links(not provided me) provided by others, u get a mere idea about RFID.
