You need to create the table maintenance generator for the table
Please check the following links

Hi,
Welcome to SDN.
Did you set to display/maintenance allowed (under Delivery and Mainatenance) for data browser/table view maint. in SE11?
If you did then you should be able to insert from SE16.

Hi ,
I have given this correctly "display/maintenance allowed " ,still the problem is there.

May be you don't have authorization to create entries like that, execute transaction SU53 after you get the message.

check 'Data Browser/Table View M' in SE11 delivery and maintenance tab, may be it's set to maintenance not allowed.

Hi Sagar,
1) You can write a small program to insert data
2) maintain a Table mantenance and insert data using SM30.
3) Double click the recod in Se16 -> enter /h and enter twice.-> this will lead you to debug mode -> change Code value to 'INSR'-> enter value you want to -> Save ->F8.
Reward points if it helps.
