ABAP Queries

Hi,

Whenever we create a Query system will automatically generate a program.

Now my situation is , I know the name of the program that is generated whjile creating ABAP Query. I am supposed to find the Query name using that program.

Hi,

look at the FM RSAQ_REPORT_NAME there you find the

definition:

<b>* Namenskonventionen

  • AQwwbbbbbbbbbbbbqqqqqqqqqqqqqq:

  • ww - 00..99 Mandant 000 bis 099 im Standardbereich

  • A0..YZ Mandant 100 bis 999 im Standardbereich

  • ZZ im globalen Standardbereich

  • bbbbbbbbbbbb - Benutzergruppe

  • qqqqqqqqqqqqqq - Query

  • in den ersten 30 Stellen werden Leerzeichen durch = ersetzt</b>

if you go thru the created program, in the documentation part at the header level in program you will be getting INFOSET QUERY NAME , BY USING THIS IF YOU GO TO SQ02 you will get query name

query = report_name+16(14)

e.g.

05-16user-group 17-30 query-name
AQCSAM01========ZZ01==========

Hi,

Please check Table <b>AQBWCAT</b> with your query program name . it should then give you the query name

Also please try <b>AQBWCAT_SAP</b>

Check this function mdoule,

RSAQ_DECODE_REPORT_NAME.

Look at the program name, it should look something like this. Here USER_LOGIN is the name of the query.

AQFKBASIS=======USER_LOGIN====
