Can anybody explain me in simple words about the definition for oops abap and advantages of using oops .

The only advantage I see for [oops|http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/oopses] is that admitting mistakes is a good character trait. However, it's much better to avoid doing mistakes in the first place, so you don't need to frighten your users and colleagues with your oops statement. So it's up to you which one you want to pick.
Now the more specific expression oops abap should be avoided, because it implies blaming the programming language abap for some mistake. As it turns out that in almost 100% of cases the programmer is at fault and not the language, such remark usually is seen as a poor way of trying to cover up own mistakes.
