A question for authorization object configuration

Hi all,

I am confused with the use of authorization object. Here is the configuration in my system:

A report transaction has authorization object AAA maintained.

AAA has two authorization fields: BBB and ACTVT, ACTVT is like below:

BBB has a data element configured and the data element has a search help configured.

My question is how authorization object worked when report transaction was executed?

I think the purpose of the whole configuration is to limit the search help value display but I have no idea what authorization object is doing here.
