A ques on flag

hai,

can any one explain me what does this mean:

' a flag need to be added to ztable to flag the characterstics relevent to report.'

second field need to be added to the same table to determine the order of the export char.

there is a alv report with 380 fields but on clicking a spl.button user will enter in to fixed layout where only the data from the above ztable is displayed.

pls let me know what the above ques means.

HI ,

a flag is nothing but a field of of lenth 1 charater.. just set the value of that field to space or X based on the values..
