940 IDOC creation

Hi all,

Good Morning.

I have to create 940 IDOC, I went to Tcode VL06o and gave delivery num and output type then executed the transaction. I selected the line and went to option subsequent functions -> picking output.

then it is giving me the following and no PICKSD is created.

'No output for selection exist.'

Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to correct it.

Go to Header OutpuT.

From Menu click determine analysis.

And then select your output and post what message you are getting.

Based on that i will suggest solution.

Hi Narayan,

After the execution of the transaction I selected the line and went to settings -> output selection and selected EKSU - pick list EDI, went back then the message came as 'Selected output was copied'.

Then went to sebsequent functions -> picking output, got message saying 'No output for selection exists'.

I donot see header -> output or determine analysis.

Please help me resolve this.

I am using abap 4.6C.

Can you go to NAST table and give delivery as the key and try is there any entry

for the delivery number.

Hi Narayan,

Thank you for your reply.

This Idoc creation work is new to me and this is my time doing by myself.

I found out that delivery was completed that’s why it was not showing.

The process here is I will get 850 IDOC then process it and the Sales order will be created. I will save the sales order and creates the delivery from VA02 delivery option. In Deliver I give the quantities in the pick qty tab and save it.

Can you please give me steps of how to create the 940 IDOC?

And also the any documentation related to this please.
