Hi,
I would like to create a 9 level hierarchy to associate materials into it. What is best approach to do it?
I have seen a data element PRODH available for it, but it supports standard 3 levels. For 9 level hierarchy is there something additional I need to do?
Is there any other way that I can achieve this?
Thanks
Bala

Hi,
PRODH supports more than 3 hierarchie levels. It depends of the customizing of your system.

you should always search before posting, SAP help knows the answer:
Define Product Hierarchies - Material Master - SAP Library
There is nothing different whether you define 2, 5 or 9 levels
You always have to perform the same steps

Hi,
You can copy the std. program into Z.
You will see that the existing code has written only for 3 levels, Based on that you can update your code for 9 levels.
Thanks.
