I guess most of the companies are implementing ECC 6.0. However those who are using 4.6c sometimes find easier to keep this vesion instead of updating to 6.0.

In some cases that happens due to a huge mass of Z programs and tables. All standard are automatically updated, but Z needs some hands on to become updated sometimes.

I've heard about some multinational companies who are going to keep their new plants to 4.6c, but they're already making plans to migrate it.

Hi,

It depends on the client.

Even when we suggested the ECC6.0, My Client is using 4.6c and feeling more comfortable with that version and wants to implement the same in their newly opened plants/divisions.
