Dear Community,

Couple of months ago we introduced the ProcessAutomationDelegate. Let's find out what it brings for Governance among other Role Collections.

Typical Tasks

While setting your tenant, questions can quickly come for knowing WHO is the admin and WHO is not. Admin can do EVERYTHING within SAP Build Process Automation. Here an overview of the different tasks assigned by user profile with the corresponding Role Collections:

ProcessAutomationDelegate?

In a nutshell, ProcessAutomationDelegate is like a ProcessAutomationDeveloper without the right adding a project or add anything without being granted in a container such as Project or Environment. This role collection is convenient when:

  • you need to assign a user to monitor instances and jobs execution
  • you need to assign a user to a specific project without giving the opportunity to create a new project
  • you need to assign a user to a specific environment without giving too much responsibility

Combined with Shared Environment Privileges, you can customize your governance rules.
