COM+ and Cannot Create ActiveX Component

Hi,

I'm not sure whether my two problems are related but figured that they might be. Currently at least twice a day I either have to restart IIS, my local machine or the server due to a Cannot Create ActiveX component error. It occurs when trying to do tasks like save a dimension member sheet, run a data management package etc.

On going into our server SQL Server then also seems to be having issues when going into Visual Studio with COM+.

Could these two issues be related?

Hi Fiona,

you have to open an incident into OSS because I think it is necessary a detailed technical investigation.

I don't think we can provide you help here where we can provide some suggestions.
