M7279 - Data for creating a delivery is incomplete (Customer)

Hello gurus,

i'm facing this error:

M7279 - Data for creating a delivery is incomplete (Customer)

when i try to create a delivery from MF65.

I want to create a delivery (and subsequently automatically a transfer order) to transfer the material staged by MF60 from raw material warehouse to production warehouse. Raw material WH is HU & WM managed, so i have to create an inbound delivery for transfer.

I checked everything about customer/material master and shipping customizing as reported in sap library but i still face the error.

Any suggestion?

it looks like you missed shipping condition in Customer master / sales area Data / tab Shipping

Hello Maria,

shipping condition in Customer Master is assigned correctly (01); shipping point determination is defined for Shipping condition 01,loading group, plant and shipping point; Shipping point 01 is assigned to Sales document type WMPP (that is also delivery type).

I solved my issue. In table T001L distribution channel was wrong.

I can only guess that you have not defined Ship-to party in Customer master or Ship-to party is different from Customer and there is no shipping condition in ship-to party. If this will not help you try to ask this in Producuction Planning forum. http://scn.sap.com/community/erp/manufacturing-pp
