Remote Support Platform Connection

Hello!

I tried to make internet connection via HTTP proxy.

Our system administrator gave me Address and port (8080) for that.

I Installed RSP (version 3.0). SAP B1 version is 9.0 PL0.

When launching, the Installation Wizard appeared.

I put given parameters and pushed "Test Connection".

The message "Successfully connected to internet" appeared.

Then I clicked "Next" and there was a window named "SAP Channel" where I had to input License information and "SAP Authentication". I did it.

But when clicking "Test connection" in that window I got a message:

"An error occurred while connectiong to the SAP Channel"

The only possible causes from the list (no internet connection, incorrect proxy settings and unavailability of SAP Channel) can be "The SAP channel is unavailable" I'm sure because I checked internet connection in the Internet Explorer.

How can I fix this problem? What's that "SAP Channel"?

Thank you!

Refer to SAP Note 1477362.  This resolved my similar issues.

Hello Everyone,

I had  the same problem. I was able to get around this by "Use License File" option instead of "Enter License Information" option.

Hope this helps

Krishnan

The connection to the SAP Channel checks the s user ID and License file. Have you entered that information, and checked it with the portal?
