Hi,
We're using EP5-5 and the Business Package for Communication 50.4 to connect to an Exchange 5.5 SP4 server for calendar and task info.
When we do the test with the tasklist.asp file, we get back an XML document reporting a RETURNCODE of -2147221233 and RETURNMESSAGE of [Collaboration Data Objects - [MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND(8004010F)]].
The test user has calendar and task info set via an Outlook client (and OWA too), we've reregistered the CDO.dll (version 1.21) too and set write permissions for Everyone on the system TEMP directory. MS support suggest there may be issues with the .asp scripts, any suggestions?
Cheers,
-Richard
Request clarification before answering.
Need to install Outlook on the same server that is hosting the the .asp files, and configure it to connect to the exchange server the users will be using.
Pity the documentation didn't mention this.
Thanks to Patrick at OSS.

Hi Richard,
It is not at all required that you install the Outlook on the same server in which .ASP file are hosted (i.e. IIS Server) . However, what is required is that the IIS server should contain required version of CDO.DLL.
However , it is another thing that for installing CDO.DLL you would need to install Outlook. Because you can not simply copy CDO.DLL and register it on your machine as it would lead to unpredictable results. I hope that would help you in better understanding things.
