Automatic delivery when the sales order is complete

Hi,

I want to do an automatic delivery for few sales order types when the sales order is complete?How can I achieve this automation?

Hi Ronaldo ,

If you wnat to create the delivery immediately when you saved the order you can control this. First selecet the order type (through T.code VOV8) and press details then select the check box immediately Delivery in the sales order Overview screen . Then system will create a delivery immediately once you saved the sales order.

Check this thread where similar topic was discussed. Nevertheless, through standard, this requirement is not possible. You have to try with some exits or Function Modules.

For other members, please read the question carefully and then give suggestion. When Christino has specifically indicated that delivery has to be created when the sale order is complete which means, when stock is made available for all the line items against that order and not creation at the time of sale order. Both are entirely different.

Hi,

You can do this....go to VOV8, select the document type, select the proper value from Immediate Delivery field and enter Delivery Type

So, when you save the order, provided order is complete - there is no incomplete log, delivery will be created in the background.

If there is need for picking, then do collective picking by creating transfer order through LT42. You can also do PGI in this step only. For this select the value from Adopt Pick Qty

Or

You can post the goods issue later for single delivery or through collective processing in VL06.
