Confirmation key and inbound delivery

Hi Gurus

I am trying to do MIGO against a PO (Mvt type 101), they system gives me an error message that PO do not have confirmation key and in some cases it creates an inbound dlivery. I do not want to use confirmation key as well as inbound delivery. I just want to post GR against a PO. What settings do i need to change in the system?

Any advice will higky appreciated

Your storage location must be HU managed.

Change your storage location at the time of GR and material document will be created.

I changed the Storage location and the MIGO seems to be doing something different but the program terminates with a short dump with the runtime error message - MESSAGE_TYPE_X. Any advice

Try changing thestorage location in PO also.

Also check the message number if it is standard or a Z message

HI

The confirmation controll key is defined is SPRO. This key is entered in Vendor master record purchasing organisation data. This value flows into the purchasing info record and then into PO. In your case you will have to delete the confirmation controll key from the vendor master key and then from the inforecord.

This will solve your problem.

Hi,

There are two things you have to do to avoid conf. control in PO:

1)Go to change PO "ME22N" & delete the confirmation control key from the Itel details table (tab page-Delivery Schedule)

2)You will also have to change the configuration settings.The path is SPRPMMConfirmations--Set up confirmation control.

Now, click on External Confirmation Category-select confirmation category LA (shipping notification)-delete confirmation control key (ASN).

after the above is done,you can post your GR without creating inbound delivery.

You go to me22n , line item , choose conformation tab . make it black also remove tick conf req.

letmme know if it doesnt wrk

In your PO item, under tab 'Confirmations', is there any conf. key selected?

This field should be blank.

Hi

Plz check if you have flagged Confirmation required Check box in the item details Confirmation tab.

Just remove the flag and try to do MIGO.

Else you can select confirmation control Key as PASS.
