SAC: Does promotion to another environment affect the destination story's bookmarks, comments, etc.?

Hi

I have a question about the transport and promotion of an updated story from one environment (dev or test) to another environment (production) where there is an older version of that story. The environments are on different tenants.

When that story has been transported, will the destination story's user-added comments, bookmarks created, data models imported, or changed data inputs be overwritten by this new transported story? I have heard that it comes down to the story/object ID matching?

Any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Hi tristan_martin27,

Story technical ID is kept unchanged between dev tenant and production tenant, bookmark and story comment in the target system(production) should NOT be affected.

And changed data and data point comment is only tired to data model not story, there also should be no impact as well.
