BAPI or FM to create an outbound delivery?

Hi all,

does anyone know of a BAPI or a Function Module that given only the sales order document number and the posting date to create an outbound delivery?

(I am looking for something that creates automatically a delivery just like when I create a sales order with automatic delivery creation.)

Hi George,

What I do here is created a function module and in this function module un generate BATCH INPUT DATA

and then do a call transaction to create the delivery...

Thank you all for your postings. I finally recorded the transaction VL01N which seems to be the best solution for my problem at the moment.

BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC lets you create an outbound delivery given a sales order number.

i want to do bdc for VL01N.. my doubt is.. manually when we enter the storage location under picking tab, system search for the stock availability if not it displays error message, than agian we enter some diff storage location and so on.. how can we do in the bdc..

hope u understood my doubt.. this is urgent requirement kidly help me

Hi,

I think you can use RV_DELIVERY_CREATE_SINGLE or RV_DELIVERY_CREATE.

Do a where-used list on RV_DELIVERY_CREATE_SINGLE, you will be able to make out how to call it.

I just looked at RV_DELIVERY_CREATE, it seems first you have to use function module SHP_GET_SD_DATA to get sales order data and then call RV_DELIVER_CREATE fm with corresponding tables parameters.
