It depends on your ume configuration.If the user is located in the local java database, set the user to type "Technical".If the ume ist pointing to the ABAP stack and the user is located there, change it in SU01 to type "Service"

Since this is more of cosmetical nature I'm afraid it wont help with the report.
You could however try to change the status sequence number in the status schema so that the undesired statuses are at the end.
