I overcame the validation error by blanking out these four fields in the SOAP channel configuration:

Thanks Sriprasad. I attempted this but when creating the mapping in CPI the list of structures from the WSDL does not list the login message so it seems I cannot map it using the Create message mapping function. Could this be a problem with the WSDL?...
