I am trying to install SAP HANA Express edition with XS Advanced and Web IDE package (hxexsa.tgz). The installation completed without error, however the XSA_DEV user is not created and I am unable to log into the Web IDE

I was able to resolve this by installing hxe.tgz first, then extracting and installing hxexsa.tgz package. If you try and extract both packages and install the system and XS apps together then the XSA_DEV user does not get created.
