Hi Mani,The filter defined in @Consumption.filter on a field like posting date is passed to table level to filter data in HANA. Therefore it is always a good idea to filter data in CDS query to get a better performance.Best regards,Giselle

Could you please explain a bit more about the query design? This hierarchy is in drill down and has a hierarchy node filter or something?

Perhaps you can check the attribute 0DATEFROM of 0calweek. And with that you will know which month it is. (For 0calday, there is also an attribute 0calmonth)
