it makes it easier if you can change the query but at least in a story you can add a calcuted measure with a sum of the 5 measures but you can not add dimensions to a model based on queries.
there is also the possibility to group KPIs incl building a sum by using a hierarchy in the model with x hierarchy members below in 1 hierarchie node(=group).
