Difference between Teched certification and certification through Prometric

Hello Everybody.

Is there any difference between in the course content and pass percentage in the SAP certification that is taken through a preometric center and through Tech-ED. I want to appear for BI exam in this Tec-ED.

I my self Abap/4 certified when i gave the exam through Siemens the passing percentage was more than 70% and when i compared with Tech-ED the passing percentage was 57% and even the Exam code was different.

Is there any difference Kindly let me know.

Hi Vidya,

I do not think that there will be any difference between certification either though SAP Education or thru the affiliated centers. As you have mentioned that the exam code was different, I think it may be due to the different version of the subject or it might be related to other stuffs as well.

As the pass percentage is concern, in my view it is same in both the cases.

you are absolutely correct. The pass percentage through Tech-ed is only 57% where as through prometric etc.. is 70%.

Hi Vidja,

Subhasha is correct. The difference is explained by the fact that these were probably different versions of the exam that you took. The most current versions are always the same whether delivered via Pearson VUE centers (not Prometric) or via our own SAP Education Centers.
