Hi everyone,
I’m Shubham Rane , a recent BCA graduate and a fresher looking to build my career in the SAP ecosystem. I have a good foundation in cybersecurity and full-stack development, along with hands-on project experience.
As a beginner, I’m trying to decide which SAP course/certification and skill path would give me the best opportunity to land my first job, either at SAP or an SAP partner/company in India.
I’m currently considering areas such as SAP BTP, Integration Suite (CPI), and other relevant SAP technologies.I’d really appreciate guidance from SAP professionals and experienced community members on:
Which certification/technology has good demand for freshers?
What skills should I focus on alongside the certification?
Which SAP career path would you recommend for someone with my technical background?
Any advice based on your experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for sharing your goals. It sounds like you already have a strong technical foundation, and it's great that you're thinking beyond certifications and focusing on building practical, industry-relevant skills.
I'd recommend posting your question in the Beginners Corner. This is an interactive community specifically for beginners, students, and lecturers using learning.sap.com, and you'll find many members who have recently followed a similar path or are currently building careers in SAP.
The moderator there can provide advice tailored to your student status and help you with topics such as:
I think your question would be very well received there, and you'll likely get recommendations from both SAP experts and fellow learners who can share their personal experiences and career journeys.
Best regards
Margit
