In this SPECIAL EDITION of the ABAP Cloud & RAP CodeJam, we want to address the experienced RAP developer that wants to learn first hand from our experts about the newest features that have been added to the RAP framework with the 2511 and the upcoming 2602 releases including:
- Collaborative Draft
- Draft Scope
- Recommendations
- Editable Treeview
- Analytical Table (Read-Only)
The features will be presented upfront so that the participants can decide which feature(s) they want to implement by just using the Develop Applications section of our SAP Online Help.
As said this event is NOT suited for absolute beginners since we expect that the participants have a solid knowledge of ABAP Cloud and the development of RAP business objects. Please do not register if you do not fit within this profile.
This is an in-person event only (not virtual) and is planned for Friday 20th February 2026 in Walldorf from 10:00 - 16:00 CET. The language and content of the event will be in English.

The instructors are Andre Fischer and several colleagues from the ABAP Platform Development Unit. We will provide an SAP BTP ABAP Environment system with the latest 2602 release. Please be sure to have the LATEST ADT installed https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/abap-install-adt..html
We plan to collect feedback for the documentation and materials being used in the hands-on using issues in Github.com, so please create a Github.com account in order to leverage that important feedback channel during the workshop.
