Table Reports integration using OData API

I wanted to check what is the best way to activate SuccessFactor’s ODATA API for use in reporting and analytics from ONE.

We are working with Report Center (Table/Canvas) and wanted to explore if an Azure implementation to stream data from SF to other available solutions?

Currently, we are having to download Excel reports, which have over 40 million cells, which takes considerable time, then load and refresh our analytics, which takes even more time. It would be a lot more efficient and secure to be able to stream data directly from ONE to PowerBI or a data warehouse.

Where & how should can we start on this.

There are multiple ways to achieve this requirement, though it's always important to evaluate why the reporting requirements within SuccessFactors are not sufficient using Table/Story/Canvas Reports.

One of the ways could also be calling ODATA API from the Analytics Tool, e.g. I do know SAC(SAP Analytics on Cloud) does have connector options to pull SuccessFactors Data.

Second way could be used to Pull the data via ODATA API's in SAP Integration Suite and post the data.

Third as mentioned in other post could be move the files on SFTP and have a process to transfer the files to the Analytics tool.

Each process comes with Pro's and Con's so it's also impetrative to consider - e.g. with Files, there is always important to have proper File Transmission protocols - encryption of files, authentication method for SFTP Connectivity etc. So it's important to evaluate your use case and come for a logical conclusion meeting the organization Enterprise and Reporting Architecture.

Hi,

You can try to send the reports to an SFTP and then with powerautomate, put those reports on a sharepoint.
