Stop retro active trigger IT0000

Hi All,

Why we need retro active trigger for IT0000?.

Context: EC to ERP replication , payroll is onpremise.

For all changes in EC which is non payroll relevant, an event/event reason combination is created and thereby an action record in ecc and thereby retro payroll depending on dates.

We are planning to switch off retro trigger for IT0000.

The assumption behind this option is that, if retro is required, other infotypes like it0001, it0007,8 etc also will be changed which will trigger retro irrespective of retro status of IT0000

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

i was thinking other ways, but i think BADI or enhancement spot would be good option to start with.

or above which i listed

otherwise you have to switch off 0000 completelty for retro, which is not recommended

We tested with IT0000 retro off, then we had to switch off IT0302 as well. With these settings we got the expected results.

However, still pondering on whether to take this route .. Thanks Siddharath for your guidance and recommendations.Appreciate it.
