Hello & Welcome to another blog on SuccessFactors Recruiting by Megha !

Today I would like to highlight some of the major problems I have seen in many of the implemented SuccessFactors Recruiting solutions and how you can improve the product to utilize its full capabilities and enhance the adoption of the product.

1. Complex Talent Pipelines and Forms: When it comes to SuccessFactors, SAP always talks about User Experience. In SuccessFactors Recruiting, there are 2 main types of user : 

  • Recruitment Team
  • Candidate

While designing the solution, we should always keep in mind the user experience of both these categories of users. Application process should be simplified with Quick Apply feature so that candidates can easily apply to the Job Postings.

 Talent Pipeline should be simplified. Remove un-necessary statuses which are not adding any business value. Simplify Job Requisitions, Offer Approval Forms - with most of the fields getting defaulted from the system and less manual entries by Recruitment team. 

2. Digital Transformation - We are digitally transforming but digital transformation doesn't mean just the implementation of cloud solutions, It means to simplify your processes, embrace the change and not stick to redundant practices you have been following from past few years. Let go of the data collection which is not much relevant. Reduce the manual data entries by the users. 

With technology advancement, we can try making the process simpler and enhance end user experience which in turn lead to higher adoption of the product.

3. Keep your product up-to-date- Do you know there were many things which were not possible earlier but with every release, SAP is bringing so many enhancements. At the time of implementation you might have heard some functionalities are not possible ex Automatic change of talent pipeline statuses, conditional texts in offer letter based on type of candidate or location- Now all of these functionalities are possible. Keep checking the latest features. Invest in good support partner, keep your solutions up-do-date with upcoming upgrades and new features.

Last but not the least with AI Capabilities, Intelligent Services, Story Reports and Dashboards availability, you can bring lot of enhancements in your existing SuccessFactors Implementation and utilize the tool to its full potential.
