Localization as a Self-Service
Let's now focus on the extensibility side of the house and look at some cross-country innovations in the area of our Official Document Numbering (ODN) Framework which we introduced in 2302.
Official Document Numbering (ODN) Framework enables you to configure a gapless sequential document identification number, typically based on the legal requirement of your country. This solution also lets you to create a document reference ID which you can enter manually.

Integration of ODN Between Customer Invoices and their Accounting Documents

Capturing of ODN in Supplier Invoices
In addition, we have a new feature that ODN is now captured in supplier invoices too. As you might know the ODN framework primarily aims at addressing the needs of customer-local versions, but is now used also in SAP-delivered versions such as e.g. the local version for Israel, where the ODN framework is also enabled to be used for capturing supplier invoices.
