Join us for a hands-on walkthrough of the pro-code development flow in Joule Studio, designed for professional developers who want full control over solution building from their local IDE.
The session will cover:
- Architecture — Developer entry points (terminal or IDE) that drive a Coding Agent that uses Skills and invokes MCP Tools to query SAP backend systems (SAP LeanIX, SAP Knowledge Graph, SAP Domain Models, and others).
- Fusion development — How business users and developers collaborate, specifically, how a business user starts in the web-based Joule Studio, defines requirements, and produces a PRD, then hands the project over (via Git) to a developer who continues in their local IDE using the pro-code flow.
- Local setup — How to install the jl CLI, configuring landscape access, and connecting an AI coding agent (Claude Code or OpenCode).
- JL CLI — Core commands for the development lifecycle: scaffolding, validating, building, and deploying solutions.
- Best practices — Keeping your local environment clean and reproducible using containers or Python virtual environments.
- Development workflow demo — Live end-to-end walkthrough from intent to deployment, pairing the CLI with an AI coding agent.
- Local testing of a multi-artifact solution — Validating a complex solution with several artifacts locally before deployment to SAP Business AI Platform.
