You might have heard of SAP Build Apps, and even started building a few apps. But do you know how to use it like a professional? In this session, one of our top experts will show you how to get the most out of SAP Build Apps – with better component hierarchy, styling, logic organization, and development workflow.
Speaker: Mari Hirvi

Greetings!!
What development opportunities exist with SAP Build, outside the client environment, that is, if you do not currently work with anyone who wants to adapt these technologies, how can you get involved in it?
Thanks for your question. I'm not sure I fully understand what you are asking. Which technologies are you referring to? How do you want to get involved?
You can always start with a BTP trial system, https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/hcp-create-trial-account.html, and then install SAP Build Apps, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpQM2B1v2GY
I will let @marihirvi4 answer more fully bu you can check out this tutorial about offline storage by @merituulimelkko75 -- https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/build-apps-offline-storage..html and I am told that additional capabilities from Mobile Services will be added to SAP Build Apps, including offline capabilities, but best that Mari address this.
The capabilities described in the tutorial are the primary way to do offline storage in SAP Build Apps. The integration to SAP Mobile Services offline capabilities will be the next step for this topic but it is not yet on the roadmap.
Do you mean to upload Excel to backend entities, or upload images or what? There are ways to do most of that now.
FYI -- @marihirvi4
We are actively exploring how to improve the file upload capabilities by supporting multipart/form-data requests to SAP Document Management service for example, but file upload to the Build Apps backends is not planned for the foreseeable future.
Hi Dan/Mari,
Thanks for this insight session. It was great!
I need some insights and your expertise to understand "how can I actually upload files on Build app and push it to my On-premise syystem" given my SAP S4 HANA OP system is connected to my BTP trial account via Cloud Connector already. I have also installed Functions like "Pick Files" , "UploadFiles" from Marketplace BuildApps but not sure how to link everything to get this done.
I will be thankful if you can provide some help. Thanks in advance!!!
