CAP-level Data Federation
Enterprise applications rarely own all the data they need. The SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) addresses this with support for data federation, which provides access to remote data as if it were local. This talk introduces the basic concepts of CAP-level data federation, briefly touches on service-level federation via replication, and then focuses on HANA synonym-based federation.
