unable to execute SAP get

Hi SAP Experts,

I get a message when I try to connect to SAP

Unable to execute SAP Get; Caused by: Exception in SAP Get operation; Caused by: Connect to SAP gateway failed Connection parameters: TYPE=A DEST=ebebf778-91c3-4d19-9402-654cfc82fa72 ASHOST=xxx.xxx.x.x08 SYSNR=08 PCS=1

LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode ERROR partner '192.168.1.108:3308' not reached TIME Wed Jan 08 18:50:44 2020 RELEASE 720 COMPONENT NI (network interface) VERSION 40 RC -10 MODULE nixxi.cpp LINE 3271 DETAIL NiPConnect2: xxx.xxx.x.x08:3308 SYSTEM CALL connect ERRNO 10061 ERRNO TEXT WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused COUNTER 2

I dont understand the strange numbers in the dest.

I have the 3308 entry maintained in service file as sapgw08 3308/tcp

Dont have any idea why I get this error.

Please guide with your valuable suggestions.

Hi,

are you sure the IP is correct and the server is up and running?

The error suggest you're trying to connect to the IP that is unavailable in the network.

Check if the gateway process is running or not? try to ping the host is it blocking firewall ?

Hi,

Please try to see if the gateway process and ping is working as suggested by S Sriram. Also please try to telnet with the your port and if the problem is with that. Pls contact your Network Team.
