How many types of Guides SAP releases for a specfic products.

Hi Sriram,

I am not talking about any specific product.I just want to know wheather there is any sequence of guides that sap releases for any productfor example if i talk about ecc 6.0 then how many guides sap would have released for this product.

In SAP so many guides are available

1. For SAP installation you can refer the Master Installation guide for each of the SAP products(SAP ECC, BI, PI/XI, Solution Manager,CRM, EP ..).

2. After installed the SAP system you may have to do upgrade Upgrade guide

3. After some time you may require to migrate the hardware, Migration Guido (Nothing link System copy guide).

Thanks for the knowledge.But as i am working as basis administration so i was looking for kernel update for ecc system so could you let me know in which guide will i get the steps to upgrade kernel for ecc system.
