Incorrect CPU Utilization Showing in ST06

Dear,

I see the CPU load distribution under ST06 as follows:

As can be seen from the figure above, The first CPU achieved 94% usage, while the other CPUs had a lower load. What does that mean? Is there something wrong with my system?

I would appreciate all your help.

Thanks

Hi Zhang.

From the ST06 screenshot clear about the usage of the overall CPU is 10% only. as I said before, the number of the core process

Hi Zhang,

From the screenshot, it shows that one of the core is having high CPU utilization other 23 core are CPU usage is very less. Could you share your ST06 main screenshot?

One process can only use one cpu. There was one process which uses nearly a complete cpu. The rest of the cpu were idle, because there was nothing to do.

At the same time you could check in SM50 which process is running and then on os level in the task manager (windows) or top command on *nix how much cpu is consumed by the process with the pid of the work process.

A snap shot is not really usefull to decide if you have a problem, meaning a shortage of cpu. In average, the cpu utilization should not be higher then 80%. There is a view in ST06 which shows the average data per hour. There are of course exceptions to this rule, but for a first approach, it is ok.
