How to install IDES ECC6 EHP8

I want to install IDES ECC6 EHP8 on my laptop to train me everyday.

1. Is it possible ?

2. Do I have to pay for that ( licence ), can I use HANA as a database for example ?

3. what are the hardware / software pre requisite ?

4. Do you have documentation on how to install SAP IDES ?

You have to ask your local SAP Account manager, HANA DB not possible on Laptop.

Point number 3 & 4 refer the SAP Note 2432361

yes on a laptop I think I need at least 32 gigas RAM or more -> too expensive for me !

799639 - IDES - General Information about the usage of IDES systems

2432361 - IDES ERP 6.0 incl. EHP8

You do not need 32 GB of RAM for IDES. I have installed systems with 12 GB. Also IDES needs a license but if you want an instance for home use then try the Netweaver Developer Edition.
