Solution

Add a Text Box to the Story Page: -

You can add this text box to sit on top of the Numeric point chart, you can place it in any position on the story or drag it on top of the chart, as shown below I have placed the Text Box on top of the 2nd Numeric Point Chart: -

Click on the … button, then click on +Add -> Dynamic Text as shown below: -

A dialog box will open called: Insert Dynamic Text. In this box, scroll down and select the required chart that you want to add the Year value to.
Note: You must be careful in identifying the correct Numeric Point chart such that the correct year filter value will be displayed on each respective Numeric Point chart.
Process is shown below: -

a) Here I have selected the 2nd Numeric Point Chart: Operation, because I want to refer to the year value of only this chart.

b) Drill down on the filter section of the chart

c) Select the required filter value, here it is Plan Year.

d) Once you are done with the above, click on Create in Insert Dynamic text box.

The Year value will now start showing on the text box now: -

Note: You can also add some text manually (before & after to the year value) if you so require. Just click on the year value and position your cursor as needed.

For formatting the value in the text box, since this is dynamic text, just select the value and then right click the value in the text box and then select Edit Styling… as shown below: -

You can make multiple filter selections(e.g., on Year) on the Numeric Point Chart and then based on that the Text Box value will change automatically.

Hi @Probal_Mitra,

FYI, another way to achieve the same without adding a text box widget is to just right-click on the widget title and add a dynamic text. The advantage is that you keep the story leaner with less widgets, but loose in flexibility to place it other areas of the story. Cheers
