Hi, Fellow Members

I have worked in supply chain management for fifteen years as a mechanical engineer. Now I'm planning to upskill my knowledge in SAP. I want to become a SAP functional consultant in the manufacturing industry, especially in the fields of MM, SCM, and WM.

Please guide me on which certification I need to get. I find there are different certifications related to SCM and MM.

SAP Ariba?

SAP MM?

SAP s/4hana SCM?

SAP sourcing & procurement?

etc..

Hello Palani, assuming you want also to have a bigger amount of job oportunities, I would recommend S/4Hana, because the ERP is more popular and the most implemented product from SAP.

you could do the WM cloud public edition - SCM cloud public or Sourcing&Procurement cloud public (that certification I can recommend). Any of those prepares you for a bright future.

best regards,

Gabriel
