Hi Experts,
I want to know weather data in VBKD table is stored sales order item wise or header data.
Because in VBKD for some sales order it shows no line item numbers and for others it shows blank.
why so.
waiting for reply
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
In VBKD table, the data for header is stored first. This applies to the entire document and all the line items. If for a line item, there is a difference in any of the field than the header line, then a new entry is created in the VBKD table for that specific line as well.

VBKD will always show data for the header. It will only show data for the line item if the data that is in VBKD has been changed at the line item level.
Hope it helps,

The data that is in VBKD is the same for the entire order unless you change the value on an individual line item. Then you will see data in VBKD with a blank line item number and a record for the line number that you changed.
When you first add a line to an order it takes all the values from the VBKD record with a blank line item number.

Hi,
Initially it will have the Header Data Only but if the Data is changed at the Line item level with a value different from the Header Value..then a Entry for that Line Item will be made in VBKD.
So typically it will have only those Line Items which are singing a different song from Header.

Imagine the noise once you changed more than two or three line items...
