I am unable to activate a CDS View in Eclipse using the ADT plugin. When opening the CDS View I receive the following error message, however, I have installed the most recent version of ADT.

The error is probably caused by the fact that I used to have an older version of ADT installed. I tried updating ADT but I'm being told that I do in fact have the most recent version installed. When trying to check for updates I get the message that no updates were found.
I also tried a new installation (multiple times) of Eclipse including the relevant plugins, however, this did not resolve the issue.
After closing and reopening the CDS View an exception is thrown.

Did someone experience this kind of problem before when working with CDS Views in ADT?
Thanks,
Jakub

Hi Jakub,
I remember facing this issue myself, but can't clearly recall what fixed it. Probably can you try uninstalling eclipse versions completely from your machine and then install the latest version?

Hello Jakub Zvonek,
This issue is due to the improper installation of your eclipse tool, Do the following and proceed further.
1) Uninstall the current eclipse and reinstall with the latest version.
2) Once installed before adding the systems please restart the machine and then add the Systems.
This should solve your issue.
Regards!

Okay, I was now able to semi-fix the issue. In order to deinstall Eclipse you need to delete the folder .p2 which is used to store various cache files.
I reinstalled Eclipse and am still getting the following error message, but now I am at least able to activate and run the CDS View.
