Transporting Report program layouts frm Dev system to Quality system

Hi Gurus,

when the report program is transported from development system to quality system , will the layout options which are set up in the program in development system be transported to quality system automatically (or) do we need to transport the layout separately from dev system to quality system.

can anyone share ur idea on this .

To transport the layout use the below path after executing the report.

Setting - layout - manage - (select your layout ) and in menu layout - transport.

Hello Manoj,

As Gautham has mentioned you need to attach the layout to the transport manually! Also note that the layout gets saved in a customizing request(not a workbench one).

Another note, only user-independent layouts can be transported via the standard functionality, not the user-specific ones.
